DOLLY DE LEON DEFENDS LIZA SOBERANO'S STATEMENT ABOUT LOVE TEAM: "SHE DESERVES TO SPEAK HER TRUTH."
Nagbigay ng reaksiyon ang international award-winning actress na si Dolly de Leon sa naging pahayag ni Liza Soberano hinggil sa pagkakaroon ng love team sa Pilipinas.
Noong April 28, 2023, mainit na pinag-usapan sa social media ang naging interbyu ni Liza sa "Get Real" podcast nina South Korean singers Ashley Choi at BTOB’s Peniel.
Dito ay sinabi ni Liza: "In the Philippines, the only way to become a big star really — if you're not a singer, you're an actor — is to be in a love team."
Umani ito ng samu't saring reaksiyon mula sa netizens, at mariin din itong tinutulan ng ilan sa kanyang co-celebrities.
Sa interview ni Dolly sa vlog sa YouTube ng TV5 news anchor na si Julius Babao nitong May 23, 2023, hiningan siya ng pahayag tungkol dito.
Ayon sa Triangle of Sadness actress, hindi siya pabor na mawala ang kinasanayang love team sa Pilipinas, pero nirerespeto rin niya kung hindi man gusto ng isang artista na mapaloob sa isang love team.
Aniya, "You know what, diversity is very important in anything in life, including the film industry.
"Love teams, I think, are still okay, but it depends on the actor. Kung hindi mo type mag-love team, don’t attach yourself to a love team.
"But there’s still value to it, kasi may mga taong makaka-relate sa mga istorya ng young love, kasi a large part of our population is composed of young people.
"So, they want to see a reflection of themselves.
"But it also matters when we tell other stories [to] make sure that everyone is represented. Kaya hindi rin ako pabor na mawala siya.
"If some people think it won’t be good for them, then don’t do it. But for other people, it works, so it's fine."
"She deserves to speak her truth"
Naniniwala si Dolly na walang masama sa naging pahayag ni Liza.
Maaaring naging totoo lang daw ang aktres na ipahayag ang kanyang nararamdaman, dala na rin ng mga karanasan sa ilang taon niyang pagkakatali sa love team nila ni Enrique Gil.
Saad ni Dolly, "Whatever she said, it’s her truth, and we have to respect it.
"We should allow people to voice out whatever [their problems are].
"Like me, I’ve been voicing out so many things, di ba? So why not also give her that space?
"She deserves to speak her truth.
"And for me, kung marami siyang mga negative feelings or hinanakit, it’s only human for us to talk about that and be honest about our experiences.
"There’s nothing wrong with that.
"She was really very young, I think, when that happened. And for her, it impacted her in a negative way and we have to respect her for feeling that way."
Dagdag pa niya, "There’s nothing wrong with it."

Pagbabahagi pa ni Dolly, magaling na artista si Liza.
Napatunayan daw ni Liza ang kanyang talento nang mapasama siya sa cast ng upcoming Hollywood film na Lisa Frankenstein.

Hindi rin daw malabo na maabot ni Liza ang kanyang Hollywood dream dahil dito kahit wala siyang love team.
"Actually, naka-penetrate na siya sa Hollywood. Meron siyang… Lisa Frankenstein.
"Malapit na yan. Baka before you know it, andiyan na siya.
"And just the fact na she was able to do Lisa Frankenstein, that’s promising already.
"Naka-build na siya ng seeds diyan. May mga susunod na yan."
DOLLY'S MESSAGE TO YOUNG ASPIRING ACTORS
Bago makamit ni Dolly ang tinatamasa ngayong tagumpay at katanyagan, aminado siyang dumaan muna siya sa matinding pagsubok sa buhay at karera.
Ngunit hindi raw ito naging hadlang para ipagpatuloy ang inaasam niyang pangarap.

Pahayag ni Dolly: "Isipin niyo kung bakit gusto niyong maging artista, anong motivation niyo? And if your motivation is for the right reasons, keep studying, keep researching.
"Improve and hone your craft for the right reasons, and just keep your heart open and your horizons as wide as you can.
"Be professional, and the blessings will arrive. And tanggap ako nang tanggap ng trabaho.
"Whenever you accept work, you are connected to more people. Lumalawak yung network mo.
"If you keep accepting, it’s like you’re planting more seeds.
"Then, more work pops up. So that’s why hindi talaga puwede maging choosy."
