MUSIC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES VENUE SWAP AND HEADLINERS

Organisers of a Jersey music festival have confirmed where it is being held this year.

Jersey Weekender said on Facebook the event will be staged at People’s Park in St Helier on 31 August and 1 September with Texas and Tom Grennan headlining.

Previous editions of the festival have been held at the Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity.

Organisers said the first batch of tickets will go on sale on Friday before a second set go on general sale on Sunday.

Headliners from past editions of the festival, which was known as Jersey Live from 2004 to 2016, have included the Stereophonics, James, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Becky Hill.
